I’d almost forgotten I’d had what I think are Bangkok’s best croissants. This was a while back ago at a random bakery and coffee shop behind Paradise Park called Amatissimo Cafe. Their croissants are buttery, crispy, flaky, and come in plenty of flavors.
I was reminded I’d dropped in to the cafe when I noticed the croissants again at the Spring Epicurean Market, which happens each month. Going there to grab a couple of these babies is recommended if you can’t be asked to shlep it all the way to Paradise Park (don’t blame you, unless it’s food related I avoid the place too).
Also on offer is what they’re calling a CD donut thingy, which is basically a cronut. It’s small and for the price I’d rather munch down a couple more croissants or try one of the bacon flavored pastries on display. Grab what you like with a cup of coffee, but I don’t recommend the food served in house. I was served french toast that was really a mess.
No map this time, it should be easy enough to find them at their shop if you live in the area or by finding out if they’re participating in the Epicurean Market! You can also click here for the Amatissimo Cafe Facebook Page.
