Appia, the older sister of Soul Food definitely gets it’s share of attention from foodies. I have to be opportunistic about my chances to visit, knowing that even a slow night for the Roman trattoria, could mean a tough time finding a seat in the restaurant. Instead, I’ll end up carving my place out at the bar.
Today’s photo feature is to highlight the proper way to finish a quick plate of porchetta or polish off the cocktails you threw back while sitting at Appia’s bar. That’s with the restaurant’s most well known dessert, the tiramisu. “My mother’s tiramisu” as the menu reads is the recipe passed down to Chef Paulo from his mother and chocolate dusted for extra flair. Yum!
